why is it that in missouri you gotta be 21 to get a handgun, yet just 18 for a shotgun?
this seems to be retarded to me. i'm a legal adult, and i have a constitutional right to own a gun. why do i need to wait 2 years to get a pistol to go target shooting with when i got shotgun that's twice as powerful and could dismenber someone rather than leave them with a flesh wound?
oh and yes shotguns can be concealed very easily. give someone a hacksaw and 10 minutes.it's not that hard.
If you're 18, and you want a handgun, you have 3 years to wait, not 2. Math is your friend.
It's a Federal Law, not just in Missouri, but everywhere in the US. You also can't buy beer yet.
It is all about the concealment.
PS- You saw off a shotgun, and you get about five years in a Federal Prison. It's just as illegal as owning a pistol underage.
