Why do Americans think everyone should watch their sports?

Baseball is like an idiotic variant of cricket, and there is a World Series, yet there is no world involved, only the USA?? Cricket is followed by over 2 billion people (Indian subcontinent, Australasia, Africa being the big fans), football by almost literally the entire world, rugby union by England, Australasia, Africa.

I doubt baseball or basketball nets over 1 billion viewers or fans.

I've wondered that myself. The Little League Baseball World Championship is international while the Professional Baseball World Series Championship is not, I know Canada participates, but two countries is a stretch.. Cricket is really only popular in the United Kingdom and it's former colonial possessions. If it wasn't for India, the number of people who followed cricket would be much much smaller. You think baseball is idiotic, I think cricket is silly. Just opinions.
