how did Jacob Black Of The Twilight Saga get the power to be a werewolf?
Im nearly finished new moon and i honestly dont get how jacob black turned into a werewolf? was he always a werewolf? Can someone please explain it to me?
Jacob Black is the ancestor to Ephraim Black. Ephraim Black was a werewolf and it was passed down to Jacob through their genes. they turn into werewolves through genetics, or other ancestors. All of the Quileutes that descended from their ancestors would change into a werewolf. in the third book, it will explain how the very first person turned into a werewolf. since vampires were around, Jacob turned into a werewolf. Once a Quileute reaches the age of maturity, or if a vampire is around, then they will become a werewolf, just like their great grandfathers and other ancestors before them. Jacob became a werewolf wen he was 16 because vampires were around (Laurent and Victoria) and also because he had reached maturity. all of the werewolves get their powers from their ancestors that had been wolves. it will explain it better in Eclipse. i hope i cleared things up tho. i tried as best as i could.
