Hannah and her best friend Drew have just moved into an apartment building closer to their college. Theres 3 other people living in the building, also college students. Lindy, Lucas, and Katie. All of them are prissy and popular and Hannah and Drew are emo. Hannah gets a crush on Lucas and Katie and Lindy become "fake" friends with Hannah and pretend to help her and change her by cutting her hair, changing her clothes, and making her act different. After Lucas and Hannah go on dating Hannah tells Drew all about Lucas and how great he is which makes Drew angry because he secretly loves Hannah. And when Drew finds out that Lucas has been yelling and abusing Hannah, he kills Lucas. Then Drew helps Hannah cope with Lucas's death not telling her that he murdered him. Drew starts acting funny when Hannah brings up Lucas after his death and Hannah starts putting the clues together and figures out Drew killed Lucas. And she murders Drew. She cries for hours and then finally comits suicide.
