Sat down all day, need to tone thighs?
I tend to sit down all day when doing any form of work (mainly computer based) and have noticed that my thighs are bigger *in ratio* to the top of my body.
By that I mean, my legs wouldn't look out of place on someone probably 2 t-shirt sizes bigger than me.
Any ideas on how to tone thighs whilst sitting down?

For muscle toning, look up leg (or thigh) exercises online. There are various moves for toning the quads, inner thighs, outter thighs, and hamstrings (that's front, sides, and back of your thighs).
Also, oldies but goodies workouts for the legs/thighs/but are the old "Buns of Steel" series. I did "Thighs of Steel" this morning actually (seriously) because I'm trying to tone mine as much as possible before I look into having a thigh-tuck to get rid of loose skin I have from having been obese years ago.
Youtube has exercise videos so look there for some leg/thigh workouts also. There's not a huge amount of stuff you can do while sitting, but I'll tell ya what I started today (so can't comment on results yet)...I got a pedal bike at Wal-Mart (about $25) and put it under my desk (it's just a little frame with pedals attached) and while I sit and work or read, I pedal. I'm doing it to burn a few extra calories each day, but since the activity is all leg based, I would assume you would get a bit of a thigh workout as well.
Your best workout for your legs will occur outside of sitting at work...special exercises to target those muscles and then some cardio to burn off any fat you may have there. I do brisk walking, jogging, bicycling, and trikking for my primary cardio workouts and all of those are also very good for the legs.
