Should I put a red dot sight on my air soft gun?

I have a JG G36c. Its iron sights aren't bad, I can hit my deer feeder from my porch which i guess is about 50ish yards away with 70-80% accuracy on semi auto. it is very accurate after 2 years of service. I also should take in the possibility of the lens being shot out (recurring bad daydream). Also I don't know if it will be worth it to even sight it in, because air soft guns are not nearly as accurate as a real gun.

Yea it's definitely worth it. I've got the Echo 1 G36K, and I skirmished from the start with a really cheap red dot sight. I never really knew how much of a difference that little $9 sight made until I left it on one day and the batteries died. The next skirmish I just used the iron sights and it really slowed me down. I went out and bought a pretty nice red/green dot scope then and I've been using it ever since.

You wont need any magnification, but it's much easier to put the dot sight on target and allows you to be more precise and much faster... plus it looks BA on the G36's. Here are the sights that I own:
