Can someone give me some really cool science websites that are frequently updated?

I want a website solely for astronomy and space related things.
One for biology w/o spider pictures (i actually faint when i see em.)
and just a few really cool science websites on anything and everything.
I'm a very big Science Geek!

Thanks.

http://www.sciencedaily.com/news/plants_animals/biology/ (i go here for my reports in biology class. there are dozens of categories of science to view articles about. also there are new articles posted daily)

Hope this helps!

What profession whould a science geek go into?

Science is by farrrr my favorite subject.
I've only taken biology chemistry and geology, but
next year I have biology II, physics, and astronomy.
(Next year is my last year of high school)
So far biology has been my favorite, but I'm not sure how
physics and astronomy will grab me.
I'm thinking experiencing those classes next year will be a good way to get me to decide on my favorite, but the main thing is based on the information I've given you, what profession would you say I go into?

Right now, I'd say that you should just focus on being exposed to a wide variety of subjects (which it sounds like you have no problem doing). When you start to see some university-level science, you will have a much better idea of the fields in which you are most interested.

Most people change their career goals a lot, especially during university, so try not to limit yourself now by deciding on one specific career path. Just learn what you are most interested in and a career path will eventually fall into place for you.

With that said, it never hurts to think about some interesting jobs in the back of your mind. If biology is your favourite, how would you feel about becoming a doctor? Or if you really love the learning process, perhaps research? Or maybe something related to the environment? Think about the topics which interest you most to narrow down your search.

Good luck! (And P.S. Make sure you study hard in your high school algebra and calculus classes... once you get into university, math becomes a much larger focus).
