What is my likelihood of getting acceptance into the PhD program in Computer Science(EECS) program if I have completed my MSc in CS with distinction at the University of Edinburgh.
That really isn't enough information to say. Your grades are good and that's a well-reputed school, so that's a good start, but what about your research record? Have you published papers? (Was your MSc thesis published?) Will your research advisor give you a top-notch recommendation?
If you have a few papers published, then you have a shot. If you don't have any published papers, iffy.
