First thing Jimi Hendrix was a band that was put together by Chas Chandler the Bass player for the Animals. He seen Hendrix playing behind a singer in the back up band. He then brought Hendrix to England and took out a ad in the paper looking for other people to form a band around Hendrix and that's where Noel and Mitch come into the picture. His first gig was in front of likes of Members of the Stones and Beatle and any other great bands of the time.
