Is it okay for a christian to be intrested in this?
I am very christian, and I like Zombies, Vampires, Goosebump Books, Edgar Allan Poe, and ect. And I wear black mostly, is that okay for a christian? I dont find any of that to be satanic, and/or occult related.
Also in the movie, A Haunting Hour, the main character Cassie was gothic, obsessed with halloween, and things like that but she wore a giant necklace with a big cross throughout the whole movie.
I'm a Christian and very dark as well. I love despair, ennui, bleakness, blackness, horror movies, slasher films, and all things depressing...and Jesus.
The religion lends itself to this kind of thing. The sacrificing of nailing Jesus to a cross is a revered thing. Driving demons out of lepers and into suicidal pigs. The hanging (or tossing off a clff of Judas) is a highlight. Christianity is not a religion of happy, happy, joy joy, as much as people try to get you to think it is.
Remember, the Bible states "Sadness is better than laughter..." Stay as you are, be who you are. Jesus says "My Fathers home has many mansions." One of them is meant for the likes of us.

n recent times, it is seen that many youngsters are overwhelmed with gothic culture. It is an alternative subculture. It is both a kind of music and a fashion. Different people like different kinds of music. One may like a certain genre of music but that doesn't mean he/she would dress up accordingly. In the same way, people who like to dress up like Goths do not necessarily like gothic music. However, in most cases it is seen that people who are specifically termed as metal heads are inclined towards the Gothic culture and especially the 'Goth' look.

Gothic tattoos are very diverse and different from the regular tattoos, as they tend to reflect the various tastes and interests of people who consider themselves a part of the gothic lifestyle and culture. But in any case, not only do these images help portray some beautiful and intricate designs, they also usually convey messages to a deep meaning to them.
