Can I train my German Shepard to ride with me on my motorcycle?

she's 7 y.o, and i wonder if the saying is true and you really can't teach an old dog new tricks... could she addapt to this? i got a small vintage motorcycle, where can she sit/stand? and also, where i live at the roads are awfully dangerous and the drivers drive like total maniacs! plus, i'm not the greatest driver :( will she be allright?

It can be done, I had a Dobby when I was younger that rode with me all the time. He would sit in the one up position with his paws on my shoulders and his hind feet on some wooden platforms I U bolted the the rear foot pegs. I never had any problem with him on the bike but then he rode home from the pound at 6 weeks old in a cloth bag strapped to the handle bars.

The biggest factor is the personality of the dog. I have never had another one that liked to ride since him. Also if you live in that dangerous of an area why would you be willing to risk the dog.
