90’s Sitcoms I will Always Watch Vs. 90’s Sitcoms I always Turn
Even with the development of high definition TV, reality shows, cable television, and T-VO, surprisingly enough, 90’s sitcoms are still broadcasted today. Whether you have satellite TV or the basic local channels, you can still see shows that you’ve loved since their 1990’s debut. In all reality, I would gladly skip a night on a bar stool and get cozy in my couch for some good old 90’s reruns.
Here is a list of 90’s sitcoms I still watch today and the 90’s sitcoms I almost always turn the channel to.
90’s Sitcoms I will always watch:
1. Friends: Even though I have all the DVD sets, I still watch Friends at 10 and 10:30 cause I’m a dork.
2. Sienfeld: This show makes me crack up and you can’t find another Kramer nowadays.
3. Boy Meets World: What can I say? I love this show. Great for pre-teens, though I’d still watch it in my 20's.
4. Step by Step: Another TGIF favorite.
5. Saved by the Bell: I just like to look at their outfits and laugh. I can’t believe I thought Slater was actually cute back in the day!
6. Fresh Prince of Bel-air: I can honestly say I have always loved Will Smith, yes even in Men and Black. He’s got that swagger that’s rare in similar actors.
90’s Sitcoms I will never watch:
1. Cheers: I couldn’t believe they actually play re-runs of this. Needless to say, I don’t watch this show because I never did.
2. The Golden Girls: I actually did watch this show quite a bit when I was a little girl, but for some reason I always turn it nowadays. Maybe that’s because Friends is on another channel. (chuckles).
3. The Nanny: Again, I watched this back in the day, but now I’ll see what else is on.
4. Rose-Anne: Another highly watched series when I was a kid, now, not so much.
5. Fraiser: I watched this show a little bit when I was younger but it really doesn’t strike my fancy.
6. Just Shoot Me: This show is still on and I don’t know why!
