CHEAP CLOTHES SHOPS IN PARIS AND FRANCE? CHAIN STORES? TATI? HELP!?
im coming to paris in january and im on a students budget so no chanel for me!
i was just trying to find out some good stores to go to that are reasonably priced? what are the versions of primark and topshop in france?
dont give me names of little or vintage shops i want to know french chain stores that are still cool to shop in for young people.
i know there is zara and h&m, and a store called tati buit thats it. surely there must be french chains too?
also has tati actually got nice clothes or are they basics?

Actually, Zara is Spanish and H&M is Swedish. But there are several large Zara and H&M flagship stores in Paris, so there shouldn't be any problem on that.
A few French chains:
- Naf Naf : there's a large Naf Naf on Champs Elysees, and they're quite trendy. I like Naf Naf for their basics.
- Etam : the impression I have of Etam is they're not really catering for young fashion, but then again it has been a very long time since I last stepped into Etam so they may have change now.
- Petit Bateau : this is a place for stocking up basics. As basic goes, they're not very cheap but the apparels are good in quality. Another one of my favourites.
- Morgan de toi : another trendy French chain, there is a shop on Champs Elysees. Mid-range prices.
- French Connection : you may know this brand already?
Well, in any case, January does mean post-Christmas sales, so hopefully you'll pick up some good bargains along the way. Enjoy Paris!
