Buy or Sell---5 NFL Football question?

1. Buy or Sell that the Patriots are a better team than the Colts and will go farther than the Colts in the playoffs?
2. Buy or Sell Larry Johnson is a good move for the Cincinnati Bengals?
3. Buy or Sell Buffalo made a wise decision for firing Dick Jauron (spelling) in the middle of the season?
4. Buy or Sell that the NFL commish is right for the fine of the Titans owner (250k) for flipping the bird at the Buffalo Bills' fans?
5. Buy or Sell that the Ravens dished out a little retribution on the Browns (Cribbs) for Quinn going after Terrell Suggs knees earlier in the game?

1) Sell - Colts fan and like someone else pointed out the D is lacking in NE, but they've got time to work it out. Obviously it was a tough game in which they outplayed the Colts for 50 minutes but couldn't close the deal. So, this could easily become Buy.
2) Sell - his average yards per carry is really low (2.9 versus 4.5 in 2008). That's well below the league average. And he's 30, the age at which RB's are thought to start declining and honestly there are a lot of RB's to back that theory.
3) Abstain, I don't know enough about what happened
4) Buy - Owners need to be held to a higher standard.
5) I'd like to say Sell here, because I'd like to believe players respect their own safety and the safety of others enough to not do that. But I could easily believe Buy on this one. Some of the Ravens D can play dirty.

You Will Need

  • A square of origami paper folded into a Bird Base
  • A flat surface

Step 1: Position Bird Base

Position the Bird Base so that there are separate right and left flaps on the bottom. These flaps will be the tail and neck of the bird.

Step 2: Fold the right flap to the center edge

Narrow the top layer of the right flap by folding its outer edge to meet the center vertical edge.

Step 3: Fold the left flap to the center edge

Narrow the top layer of the left flap by folding its outer edge to meet the center vertical edge.

Step 4: Flip the model over and repeat

Turn the model over and repeat, narrowing the remaining layer of the right and left flaps on the other side.

Step 5: Fold entire right layer over

Fold the entire top right layer over to the left side, along the center vertical.

Step 6: Flip the model over and repeat

Turn the model over and repeat, folding the top right layer over to the right side, along the center vertical.

Step 7: Fold the bottom flap up

Fold the top layer of the long pointed bottom flap all the way up to the top. This forms the tail.

Step 8: Flip the model and repeat

Turn the model over and repeat, folding the remaining long pointed bottom flap all the way up to the top. This forms the neck.

Step 9: Fold head

Fold the tip of the neck in on itself to form a head.

Step 10: Fold left layer over

Fold the top left layer over to the right side, along the center vertical.

Step 11: Flip model over and repeat

Turn the model over and repeat, folding the top left layer over to the right side, along the center vertical.

Step 12: Pull tail down

Pick up the model and hold it in the middle along the bottom. With your other hand, reach in between the layers and pull the tail down and out to a pleasing angle.

Step 13: Repeat to pull neck down

Repeat on the other end to form the neck, and pull out the head.

Step 14: Fan the wings

Gently spread apart the wing flaps, allowing the crane’s back to spread open.

Did you know?

An origami crane folded in 2001 in a Japanese stadium had a wingspan of 256.5 feet—nearly the length of a football field.
