Isnt it funny that the same LSU fans who were crying two or three weeks ago are now taunting?

We realize the number one ranking is a new scenario in the world of LSU football. I guess we cant blame you for cherishing it while it lasts i suppose. But to turn from crying and bitching about USC to this? That makes you just as bad if not worse than the USC morons.

Yes it is kind of silly. But as you said, let them have their fun, it has been a long time for them. Not all USC fans are like that in their defense. It is just one LSU fan who poses as a USC fan. It is kind of disturbing if you ask me but it IS the internet and you take the good with the bad.

No I Am Not Jerry Rice

I am sure you are not Jerry Rice or claim to be. What about Atlanta and you see a bunch of
fans claiming to be Chipper Jones?. Ok - Here is the real question: Why do people buy team jerseys
with the name of a star on the team? I do not get it. Their are some fans that
will pay fifty to one hundred bucks with someone else name on the back.

I understand we all have our favorite players and they deserve the fame they
are getting and fan fair they get. They have worked hard in high school and
through college to get to this point in their lives. The tons of hours of
training and sweat not to mention time away from friends and family at the facility. Their home
boys hanging together at the house and wondering what kind
of trouble was around the corner. This is one bunch that usually is the death
of some athletes as they give in to the temptations of missing out on something
that will mean nothing in the future. The true great athletes avoid this temptation
and stay the course of hard work and sacrefice. These athletes deserve our respect
and we love to watch on game day. But put his name on your jersey?

Neil Boortz and Clint Eastwood are two of my hero's who have worked hard
that deserve my respect but trust me I dont want their name on my shirt. What about that great general who led thousands to
battle and sacrafice for the freedom of this country - nope - no name on the back of jerseys.
I do not see the name of Obama on the back of any shirts but I do think I have
seen it on the front - but that is a story for another day.

Today's article is not to whine, bitch and moan but to get you to think why you
would pay good money to have someone else name besides yours? Be proud of what
you have accomplished in life and put YOUR name on the back of a jersey. Personal
pride is hard to find now adays and I want reel it back in. Have your son put
the family name on the back and teach him the importance and pride of your family
name. We still are going to cheer for our favorite City. We still are
going to the game with our friends and friends we are about to meet. I bet he will
remember your name. Can you imagine Johnny beside you
asking who Smith or Jones,Samuelson or Lewis are? Well let me tell you
who I am. I am a fan. A fan who is proud at my accomplishments and willing to let the world know.
Let me tell you something about me and my hard work.

Today's ramble is a moral story of personal pride. Be proud and
make as many friends as you can. They will be the ones to help you in tough times - not
Chipper Jones or Reggie Jackson. Enjoy your life!.
