Well. I'm Swedish and I wouldn't mind being a Dane. Denmark has more quality of life just by being located more centrally in Europe. The drawback would be that Denmark recently took over the shameful record of being the country with the highest taxes in the world. Sweden used to be the record holder but now Denmark.

Copenhagen A City For The Whole Family
As the capital city of Denmark, the city of Copenhagen attracts millions of tourists every year. If you are looking for a holiday destination that will offer you fun, excitement and culture on every level then Copenhagen is one place you should put on your list.

Good advice would be to hire a car so that you can get around especially if you have kids with you. This will allow you the freedom to move around at your leisure. However, if hiring a car is not an option for whatever reason then you can always rely on the Copenhagen taxi services and public transport. As a first world country, Denmark has the best infrastructure.
Having kids along with you on holiday often lends itself to staying in a self-catering apartment as opposed to a hotel. Although hotels will offer you all the amenities, it is often easier with kids to be able to cook at your leisure and also to cook meals that you know your kids will eat.
