Is there too much advertising in our lives.?

Television, radio, billboards, junk mail, spamming, flyers, T-shirts, telemarketers, even buildings, and parks are being called "Home Depot Howell Baseball Park". Advertisers fill up our inbox, our recycle box, our radio and TV time, and cause eyesores with their big ugly billboards.

Is there just too much advertising in our society? Are we already oversaturated with the crap people are trying to pitch on us? Do you get fed up with seeing "Coca-Cola", or "Loans", or "Low Price" everywhere you look?

And some people even pay money to advertise "Nike" or "Gap" or a sports team or a rock band, by purchasing clothing that carry these names.

YES!!!! I am so sick and tired of being constantly bombarded with advertisements! You can't even watch the NEWS! Our local weather forcast is "brought to us" by Verizon! Every single damn theing nowadays has a brand name on it. The tiny bar at the bottom of the screen with the time and temp on it is now sponsored by Subway! This is getting sick.
