What are the laws on number plates?
Basically I have just brought a brand new BMW motorcycle. I would like my nickname inscribed (or whatever) on the very bottom of this (usually where the manufacturers signature would go eg cannon motorcycles). I know this is possible as I have seen plates with phrases such as "biker bitch" and "all coppers are c**ts" underneath the numbers and letters. If I'm still not making sense I'm talking about this kind of format:

"nickname"
I'm curious as to what the laws are on this as I don't want to end up with a heavy fine etc etc, and its a bit vague in searches. What can or can't I have? any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks
