Do they speak German on Northwest Airlines (operated by KLM) from Berlin to Dallas (stop over in Amsterdam)?
My parents-in-law will be flying from Berlin to Dallas, TX next fall and have never flown to the U.S. and don't speak any English. We wanted to get them a flight on Lufthansa because they speak German, but the ticket prices are $500 more per person. We found a flight with Northwest (KLM) that flies from Berlin to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Dallas. Has anyone flown this route and do you know if they will speak German on the flight?
From my experience on Munich-Amsterdam-Minneapolis On NW/KLM. From MUC-AMS they speak german, the AMS airport is translated into many languages. The Flight to the USA is on on Airbus A330 which has personal TVs in every seat that are translated into german. You would have to get lucky to find a flight attendant that speaks german but the flight attendants are helpful. You can all them the A330 is an extremely comfortable airplane to fly in!

Best Holiday Trip In Berlin

the following is my very first blogging site, so I really don't know what actually to prepare to be interesting. First of all I must expose you the most important reason i am blogging today... At the current time I am in Lufhansa airlines jet. A course of flight journey is back from Berlin. This may be a small review for this city, due to the fact I am inspired by all the fantastic things occurred to me.
At the 1st day of my holiday, i was concerned about where exactly to stay, which hotel or cheap Berlin aparment, or anywhere it is. It's Mart and it was hot. I believed Berlin is a frosty area, but the temperature was 12-15 degree. Lastly, I stopped ahead of the excellent Ritz-Carlton hotel having exclusive overnight accommodation and impeccable support. So, this is the spot. a half-hour after that I started sightseeing. The initial building on my eyes was the state parliament for the State of Berlin called Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin. Glorious edifice for Berlin. Following this political start, my dream was to see as many as I could from the popular Berlin museums. It is not possible to look at every one, but a good option was to look at the Museum Island, it is in fact 50 % an island based on the Spree lake in the central Mittie area of Berlin. There is several huge national museums - The Altes Museum, The Neues Museum, The Alte National Galerie, The Bode Museum and the Pergamon Museum. It was awesome to discover how glorius most of the houses are. Infrastructure are both, modern and old-historical. Because of the World War II a lot of structures were demolished from the tanks. Afterall, almost all the structures evaded the bombs are renovated and now this is the face of the modern Berlin. Ok , i'll notify you about the citizens. Exactly what you know about their excellence, it is all real. These people are friendly, very helpful and everything should be happening on time. Their own extreme hard work capabilty is a thing you can't notice in other different places. Berlin is home for more than 3,000,000 townspeople and it is a little overcrowded, like in any different metropolitan city. At the end of the day, you are able to choose from many night clubs, disco's. restaurants. If you are performing arts lover you are free to decide on from some excellent operas or concert halls such as The Deutsches Theater or perhaps the three main operas - the Deutsche Oper, the Berlin State Opera, and the Komische Opera. As you most likely know German people are very huge sports enthusiasts, for being much more specific soccer is like religion. The nearby soccer team named Hertha Berlin is playing on Olimpiastadion, located couple of world cup finals, the very last from 2006, where Germany won the final. Near the arena, if you choose, there is plenty of Berlin cheap apartments to live with your pals.
