Do you think that Raven from the series "Vampire Kisses" is a poser?
I started reading the series, only to realize that the main character, Raven, isn't as Goth as she says she is. Her favorite bands are Slipknot, Korn, and HIM, (none of which are Goth), and by the author's description, it sounds like she dresses like a typical mall-Goth. What do you think?
No. I don't believe she's a poser. She grew up loving the idea of vampires and dressing dark. She dresses up like that because, um yea, it's Dullsville, remember? Not many places to get authentic goth wear. Slipknot and Korn and HIM aren't goth? Since when? And does that matter?
