visa for a chinese women to live in new zealand with her nz husband?
Iam a chinese women liveing in china and my husband who is a new zealander and we have been married for three years and are still unable to get a visa for me to come to new zealand .
Why is it so hard for us to go and lve in new zealand we only want to live there for five months of the year and then return to china each year , So we can enjoy endless summers as my husband is a very ill asthmaic and the cold air hurts his lungs
Your husband of course can return whenever he chooses to.
The visa process is designed to ensure that new entrants to the country do not pose an undue economic burden on taxpayers through welfare claims.
There are also requirements which include having no criminal convictions and being free of diseases which are likely cost more than a certain amount.
Without knowing the specifics of your case, it is hard to know why you have been refused. I would suggest you work with a good lawyer to talk through the choices available.

The unprecedented snow disaster in early 2008 had drawn people's more attention. Under such situation, China began to attach great importance to the development of nuclear power.
In 2006, "Medium and Long-term Development Plan for Nuclear Power (2005-2020)" hasd been approved in China, with the following goals: by 2020, China's nuclear power installed capacity will account for 4% of power installed gross capacity, adding up to 40 million KW. According to the latest news in November, 2008, China considered adjusting this plan by increasing the nuclear power installed capacity from 40 million KW to 70 million KW in 2020.
