The affection of the afflictions
For many years I have faced the same affliction, an affliction he prayed long and hard for God to remove. And then I prayed and wept, the problem persists. For years, God told repeatedly that he should change things, do them better, make me better. However, over and over I may not be released of my affliction. This mistake was pulling my soul, making me believe that God does not care about me.
With this in mind and although I started reading my Bible again, trying desperately to find a reason why God seems to this restriction. However, what I found was not what I expected.
The apostle Paul was a mighty man of God with a prosperous economy ministry. He was one of the leaders of the early church that a man be respected and heard. But his life was not easy. It sank, drifting at sea, whipped, beaten five times within an inch of his life in jail, almost killed by the riots, bitten by a poisonous snake, believed to be stoned to death, and finally murdered. He also had a problem he called his "thorn in the flesh" that does not start, no matter how many times he prayed (2 Corinthians 12:7-8). However, he went forward, knowing that the reward was ultimately value problems.
The apostle John was a very happy man and was the closest friend and disciple who Jesus was. I saw all the miracles and mysteries, not to deny Christ at any time remained faithful, while others were unbelievers, Jesus 'audience was present, was charged with the mother of Jesus, witnessed Jesus' death and resurrection, has taken a leading role in the church, a witness to everything that is mentioned in the book of Revelation, and died of natural causes. However, he also was dogged by Jews remained in hiding as an apostle, was boiled in oil, and then was banished to an island to die. This was not an easy life.
Daniel was a man to whom God raised to a high position. He was a man who loved God and worship. He was subjected to a butler who allowed him to become a vegetarian, has been promoted for their loyalty and their interpretation of dreams, has held magicians instead of the king, has been kept alive in the pit of lions, was allowed to know about the future of the mouth Gabriel himself, and died an old man. However, it has also been abducted from his home to watch a large part of their people die. His best friends were thrown into a furnace and he himself was cast into the den of a lion, even to pray to God. He has lived all his life as a slave, reserved for each new ruling until it could be again. He ends up dying as a slave in a foreign country.
There are many other examples in Scripture of men and women who loved the Lord and was faithful, but have been affected in some way that is difficult to imagine. I can not think of Job, Ruth, David Lazarus, Moses, Peter, all the prophets, and many other men and women ", Which the world was not worthy" (Hebrews 11:38). And God has used everything to his glory, showing us that while life is hard and the world is good, we will celebrate until the end.
What I found most interesting is that God has never failed to meet Once these men and women, once abandoned, and yet not a single once made a promise to God that life would be easy for them either. In fact, John 16:33 makes it perfectly clear that when he said: "In the world has problems. But be courage, I have overcome the world. "
Why unfortunately they complain? The Bible is full of stories where men and women experience problems and afflictions. However, God remains faithful. It does not promise life will be easy or that all our problems will be eliminated by magic, but the promise to be with us go what happens. And judging by what other conditions they face, mine does not look that big.
So maybe I can use my pain for the glory of God as Paul did. Maybe knowing I'm not perfect is to show others that God can work with your weaknesses. After all, God said: "My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). I will bare my weakness better than me, knowing that God has a plan. And I trust the words God gave the apostle Paul: "My grace is sufficient." Maybe for others to see me as God sees me, a woman with a disease that can still be used mightily God.
